She was a self-made businesswoman and enjoyed cooking, sewing and reading.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Barkley of Manteca; brother, Ronald Thompson of El Cerrito; and sister, Sharon Rivera of Livermore.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home.
Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Newville Cemetery, Newville.
