Last Rite for G. A. Tuttle
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Methodist church of Gilbert Allison Tuttle, 84-year old Davenport resident, who died Sunday at a Spokane rest home.
The Rev. J. E. Doak officiated at the rite arranged by Strate Funeral home. Interment was at Mountain View cemetery.
He was born December 27, 1871, in Pennsylvania. He was married in 1940 to Mrs. Frances Walton and they began operating an apartment house here in 1943.
Survivors include the widow, Frances, at home; one son, Russell Tuttle, Sedro Woolley; three stepsons, Wesley Walton, Chattaroy, Stanley Walton, Chattaroy, Lincoln Walton, Stationed in Greece with the U. S. Navy; four step-daughters, Gertrude Depoe of Shelton, Wilma Matherly of Davenport, Edna Austen of Washtuena, Marjorie Walton of Medical lake,; one brother Harry Tuttle of Arch Cape, Ore., and a sister Mrs. Harriet McPherson of Enumclaw.
