Roberta Marie Burris Of Middletown, DE, passed away June 2, 2000 after a long illness at Union Hospital, Elkton, MD. She was 67.
Roberta was born at Battery Point, Earleville, MD on October 21, 1932. She was a graduate of Cecilton High School. Shortly after graduation she married Raymond "Dickie" Burris of Middletown. Together, they have continuously farmed for 49 years and also managed a construction business. Roberta was an avid reader, loved to ride ATV's, enjoyed collecting antiques and Longerberger baskets. She had a great love for the outdoors, wildlife and her dogs. She was an active member of the Middletown Women's Club.
