Hallie Lee Bryant Sanders services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 P.M.
Hallie Lee Bryant Sanders, 82, of North Vernon, died at 8:55 A.M. Saturday, June 19, 1999 at her home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday, June 22, at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jiles Ray Mullins officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. Monday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery.
Mrs. Sanders was a member of First Baptist Church in North Vernon. Jennings County Seniors and the
Golden Circle Seniors in North Vernon. She attended Grayford Road Church of God. She was employed at Arvin Industries in Columbus for 25 years as a plating and press operator.
Born Dec. 31, 1916 in Madison County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of James Allen and Cordelia Miller Lamb. She married George Wesley Bryant July 3,1935. He preceded her in death Nov. 15,1968. She married Willard Howard Sanders April 2, 1984. He preceded her in death Aug. 3, 1994.
Survivors include two sons, George Bryant and Jim Lamb of North Vernon; two daughters, Jewell Dean Grider and Alline Stewart of North Vernon. two brothers, James Lamb and Albert Lamb of Deputy; a sister, Emmer Mack of Madison; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Russell Price Bryant and Kenneth Earl Bryant; four brothers, Carl Lamb, Jake Lamb, Russell Lamb and Price Lamb; three sisters, Fannie Claire, Evaline Lamb and Lenner Lamb; a grandson, Allen Bryant; a granddaughter, Lois Ann Etienne; and a great-granddaughter, Casey Vaught.
