Born to Johnny and Hattie Sockey Berry Nov. 26, 1918 at Greenville, Mrs. Abshire died Monday in Ardmore.
She was a lifetime resident of this area.
She is survived by her husband, Short, of the home; and a brother, Frank Johnson, Marietta.
Honorary bearers will be Calvin Johnson, John Williams, Larry Scott, Edwin Thompson and Clarence and Ike Abshire.
