Services for Homer Fitch Couvillon, 60, Clovis, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Muffley Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Daniel M. Balizan will officiate.
Burial will be in Kenna Cemetery.
Muffley Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Couvillon died Saturday, May 13, 1995, at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. He was born Jan. 20, 1935, in Parchman, Miss.
He married Mary Longley on Aug. 31, 1961, in Crystal Springs, Miss. He moved to Clovis on Dec. 19, 1981, and worked as a mechanic and truck driver for ENMR Telephone Cooperative. He was a Catholic and a member of the Clovis-Portales Elks Lodge No. 1244.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; one daughter, Mary Katherine Gillean, Portales; two brothers, Anatole Couvillon, Brandon, Miss., and Bob Couvillon, Maryland; two granddaughters, Krystal Couvillon and Kambrye Gillean, both of Portales; his mother-in-law, Mary Longley, Clovis; and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Casket bearers will be Virgil Hukill, Tim Krach, Jerry Jesko, Paul Adams, Bob Hunt, Steve Vineyard, Larn Longley and Jay Longley.
Honorary bearers are Ben Hillock, Doyle Hodges, James Griffin, Gene Nelson, Dudley Hardin, Andy Anderson, Larry Step and Loyd Rolan.
