Winchester, Ind. Sent to Camp Taylor, KY. Transferred to Camp Shelby, Miss. Overseas June 12, 1918; assigned to Company M. 165th. Infantry, 42nd. (Rainbow) Division. Killed in action October 17, 1918, Sommerance, France. Buried, Landres-et-St. Georges, Ardennes, France. Survived by widow Esta Davidson, Winchester, Ind.
