Age 88, of Millcreek, son to the late Lloyd E. and Ethel B. Wilson Brown. He fought in WWII and received a Purple Heart as a member of the Army's Company H, 393rd Infantry Unit, 99th Division. He worked as a tool room foreman at Parker White Metal for 43 years retiring in 1983. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He participated in Habitat for Humanity projects.

He was preceded in death by a brother Leo L. Brown.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Lou Sanger Brown, whom he married on July 3rd, 1948; a son: David D. Brown (Susan) of Broadview Heights, Oh.; a daughter Kathy L. Linnan (Anthony) of Clarion, Pa.; four grandchildren; three sisters Marge Kennedy (Sherman) of Pierpont, Oh., Shirley Loepp, (Theodore) of Girard and Nancy Babb of Albion; and several nieces and nephews.
