Actor. Son of actor Edward Loomis Davenport, plus he was the brother of actors Harry and Fanny Davenport. He was a successful theater actor, making his debut in “The Black Arrow” (1911), followed by “The Senator’s Dishonor” (1913). A veteran of the silent film era, he went on to appear in over twenty-five more films, to include “The Thief” (1914), “Samson” (1915), "Four Feathers" (1915), “The Upheaval” (1916) and "Great White Trail" (1917). His career in the film business was ended suddenly with his death at age 56.
