Services for Alton Bryan "Sonny" Owen, Jr, 18, Graham High School student were held at Morrison Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Frank Oglesby of Lubbock.
Sonny moved to the Bunger community in 1961 from Wichita Falls, Texas.
He was a member of the Graham Chapter Future Farmers of American, Rodeo Club and 4-H Horse Club. He was active in 4-H Play Day activities.
Survived by his parents; two half-brothers - L.B. Owen and Lloyd Owen; one half-sister - Gala Faye Oglesby.
Pallbearers were: Stewart Heighten, Charles Smith, Larry Holcomb, Harry Bettis, Jr, Eddie Grant, Royce Wallace, Skipper Bryant, Freddie Dodd.
