Barbara, my aunt, known to the family as "Pinny", was born in Elizabeth, NJ, the daughter of Michael George Huffenus (1881-1959) and Margaret Krizanitz (1889-1918).

Michael and Margaret had four other children: Eva Helen (1909-1996), Michael George, Jr. (1911-1999), Margaretha Magdelena (1912-1986), and Frederick (1915-1985).

Pinny's marriage to William Taggart on May 15, 1937 was a double wedding. In addition to Pinny and Bill, Pinny's sister Margaret married Marvin Hilts.

During the 1950's Pinny worked in the Notions Department of Levy Brothers on Broad St. in Elizabeth, NJ.

Pinny and Bill lived in Elizabeth, NJ after they were married, then moved to 1106 Clark St. in Linden, NJ where they lived for the rest of their lives.
