Professional baseball player. He was a pitcher for several baseball teams beginning in 1912 with the Cincinnati Reds. Three years later, he was pitching for the Chicago White Sox in a relief role for two games. In 1918, he continued his relief role and in 1920 he was with the St. Louis Browns where he took on more of a starting role pitching until 1926. Over his 10 year career, he went 75-71 throwing 10 shutouts and 77 complete games.
