Kenneth Joseph Tannehill, 69, of East St. Louis died at 11 a.m. Monday in his home.
Mr. Tannehill was a retired service station operator in Edwardsville, where he worked for 23 years.
He was born Oct. 26, 1900, in Troy, a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Bickel Tannehill. He had lived in East St. Louis the past 45 years.
Mr. Tannehill was married to the former Julia Elsinger in St. Louis in 1926. His wife survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Harold Tannehill of St. Louis, and three sisters, Mrs. Floyd (Hazel) Morstain of Highland, Mrs. Fremont (Mabel) Koch of East St. Louis, and Mrs. William (Helen) Morrisey of Los Angeles, Calif.
Mr. Tannehill was a member of the Operating Engineers Local of East St. Louis.
Friends may call at Edwards Funeral Home in Troy.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, with the Rev. R.H. Mornhinweg officiating.
Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy.
