Obituary:

TERRE HAUTE — After a long battle with autoimmune diseases, Cheryl Lynne (Neice) Conwell, 52, of Terre Haute, passed away at home and went on to be with Jesus. She was preceded in death by her father, Ssgt Donald Lee Neice ; and survived by her mother Sandra (Ramey) Neice. Cheryl is also survived by her loving husband of 33 wonderful years, Michael J. Conwell. She has a sister and four brothers. Cheryl is loved by many nephews and nieces, and will be greatly missed by her closest family and friends.

Cheryl enjoyed playing sports with her husband in their younger years, and was an avid collector of Precious Moments figurines and butterflies. She loved all animals, and it broke her heart losing her four-legged furry kids, Donnie and Romeo. They will be waiting at the rainbow bridge to greet her with love and kitty kisses. This will put a smile on her face and joy back into her eyes to be reunited with her babies again.

It will leave sadness in our hearts and a tear on our face until D.J. and I can see her again. I will carry your love in my heart forever, so sleep in peace, my Honey, you are my forever Love. I Love you the mostest, Sunshine.

In honoring Cheryl's wishes, cremation has been chosen. The family suggests any memorial donations be made to Harmony Haven, P.O. Box 3305, Terre Haute, IN 47803, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality lifetime care for homeless cats and dogs, finding suitable adoptive placements for those animals who are healthy and socialized, and educating the community about responsible pet guardianship.
