HELEN VIRGINIA BARNETT, daughter of Hershel G. and Lucille Doty Griffin, was born September 21,1930 in Lebanon, Missouri and departed this life October 28,1996 in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, Missouri.
On November 1,1945 she was united in marriage with William Lee "Billy" Bamett and to this union were born six children.
Helen was preceded in death by three sons; Larry Don, who died in infancy, Bill Jr., and Ricky Joe. She was also preceded in death by her parents. At an early age Helen professed her faith in Christ.
Helen had spent her life in the Lebanon Community, attending rural Lebanon Schools and Lebanon High School.
She had several hobbies, including crocheting and embroidering, but most of all she enjoyed her children and grandchildren.
Helen is survived by her husband, Billy of the home; two daughters, Mary Bethel and her husband Richard, and Judy Barnett, one son, Larry Bamett and his wife Donna all of Lebanon; one brother Hershel Griffin and his wife Freeda also of Lebanon: one sister, Betty Visetine and her husband Doc of Sedalia, Missouri; her grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Brian, Chris, Bradley, Joe, Kameron and Billy Jack; also three great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
