Christena (Shepler) Hammond was the wife of Peter Hammond. They settled in Muskingum County in the early 1820's. There was no grave stone found for her husband, Peter Hammond; however there was a vacant space between Christena's stone and her son's (Henry) stone. I suspect this is where Peter's stone would have been. She and Peter are known to be the parents of: Elvira, Henry, Daniel, Samuel and William.
