Private, Co. E. 84 Pa. Infantry. Killed at the Battle of Winchester (Kernstown), Va.

From the Hollidaysburg Democratic Standard, April 23, 1862:

"On Thursday night last the remains of Privates Thomas Hancuff and Aaron B. Weight, of the 84th Regiment, who fell in the battle of Winchester, arrived at this place and were conveyed to the Town Hall, where they lay, under military guard until Friday, when they were taken in charge by their friends [to be] moved. The former was buried near Yellow Springs and the latter in Lutheran cemetery, below Frankstown."
