The Mass of Christian Burial will be said for Catherine Margaret Borsch of Southwest Portland at 9 a.m. Monday in St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Borsch died of causes related to age Wednesday in a Beaverton care center. She was 89.
She was born Catherine Margaret Hark on May 5, 1903, in Buffalo, N.Y., she was raised in New York. She moved to Portland in 1926 and married Ferd Borsch in 1928.
Mrs. Borsch , a homemaker, also helped her husband in his family's nursery business during her younger years.
She was a longtime member of St. Clare Roman Catholic Church and had belonged to St. John Fisher Church since its founding.
Her husband died in 1953.
Survivors include her sons, Ferd of the island of Oahu, Hawaii, William of San Diego and Joseph of Tigard; and seven grandchildren.
The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon.
