Happy Birthday, Mr. Hendricks. You were, are, and will always represent everything which is right with the national pastime. Thank you for embodying the true essence of a champion, both on and off the field. I have your autograph, which I will cherish forever. It would have been the greatest honor to meet and work with you. May God continue to bless and watch over you and those you love then, now, and always. RIP

Happy Birthday, Mr. Hendricks. Please forgive me for forgetting to love flowers on the fifth anniversary of your passing. You were, are, and will always represent everything which is right with the national pastime. Players of your talent and character are seldom seen today, as your helped define true baseball for a generation. You were one the first autographs I ever had, which I will forever cherish. It would have been a great honor to meet and work with you. May God continue to bless and watch over you and those you love then, now, and always. RIP

Elrod, I remember you were the man I loved to hate. I was a die hard Senator's fan (Paul Casanova) but each time we traveled to Baltimore, you kicked, man. Gawd the Orioles were good. You guys usually wuupppped us well. We used to distract you in the seats behind the plate at the old Baltimore stadium. It worked a couple of times but the Orioles won every game against the Senators that I saw live, thanks alot to you, Brooks, Fred, Boog, Mark and a whole pile more May God Bless you and may God watch over you RIP my friend, you were the best.

Remembering you on the day God called you home. You were a "Yankee killer" when I was a young boy and I rooted for your Baltimore Orioles back in 1969 against the Mets. May God's love and mercy shine upon you always.
