Margaret E. Ban, 94, Springfield, passed away on March 31, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Morehouse, MO on January 18, 1920, the daughter of Wally and Etta Spence. She was united in marriage to Joe P. Ban on November 2, 1937 who preceded her in death on April 13, 1988. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Ann Ban, three grandchildren, Tina Wallace, Linda Beatty, Eric Macom and wife, PJ Macom, two great grandchildren, Mandy Brookshier and Josh Brookshier and two great great grandchildren, Isaac Alexander and MaKena Nichole, and many loving nieces and nephews. Margaret was happiest when she was with her family and friends. She was a member of the Walnut Lawn Church of God and loved her church and church family. "I fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM with the funeral at 12:00 PM April 3 at Greenlawn South. The family request memorial donations to be made to the Walnut Lawn Church of God or the charity of your choice.
