Revoluntionary War Continental Army Officer. Born in England, he came to the Colonies and served as a Paymaster in the American Continental Army during the Revolution. He died in 1812 and was buried in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Georgetown (now a part of Washington DC). On November 13, 1907 he was re-interred in Arlington National Cemetery along with eleven Revolutionary War Veterans.
