He was the son of Doyt and Goldie (Wheeler) Fowler. On Jan 15, 1949, he married Mary Dunn, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons: William "Bill" (Joyce) and Ray (Vicky), both Waynesfield, and Sam (Nora), Lima; two daughters, Barb Hensley, Waynesfield, and Jo-Ann Fowler, Lima, a brother, Fred (Tina), FL; four sisters: Madline Sneary, Lakeview, Pauline Thrower, AZ, and Jane Bower and Kathy Hennsley, both Lima; fourteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Dianne Fowler; and two brothers: Donald and Bob.
He had been a truck driver for Schwemer Trucking for over 27 years. her was a US Army Veteran, member of American Legion Post 0888. He was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt, fish, tractor pulls and horses. He was a member of Good Sam camping club.
A celebration of life service will be at Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield, with Pam Spencer officiating.
