HOLD FUNERAL BENNETT HOME

SERVICES WILL BE CONDUCTED FRIDAY AFTERNOON BY THE REV. I.C. OVERMAN

BURIAL IN FOREST HILL

Funeral services for Alfred Bennett, age thirty-nine, who died Wednesday afternoon at the Major Hospital, following an operation for stomach trouble, will be held at the home, 519 West Taylor Street, Friday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock, the Rev. I.C. Overman pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery. Platt and Murphy in charge.

Mr. Bennett had lived in Shelbyville practically all of his life, and had been employed as a finisher in Shelbyville Furniture Factories.

He was the son of Alfred and Sarah Bennett, and was born February 14, 1887. Mr. Bennett was married April 28, 1912 to Miss Mary E. Hendrickson of this city.

Twin daughters were born to them, one having died in infancy.

Besides the widow, Mr. Bennett leaves one daughter, Frances Lucille; two sisters, Mrs. Ben Miller and Mrs. Leonard Metz of this city; and five brothers, Joseph and William Bennett of Vevay; Thomas Bennett of Chicago; John and Howard Bennett of Shelbyville.
