Difficult marker either in Section 32 or 23.
My guess at this point is Edward C.
Died Feb 14 1868
Aged 58

So far not seeing anyone in the records even ending in Feb in an 8. Also checked records for Feb 1869 without luck

Have spent years looking at this always thinking Edward Connolly or something similar but finding nothing. Also looked like someone ran crayon over the surface trying to help but made it even harder to read. Had turned marker hoping crayon might eventually wear off.
Obituary looks to list that an Edward Connolly was to be buried at Oak Hill, but Trinity Records don't list a name resembling the name on this marker around the date of February 1868. Also not finding an Edward Connolly at Oak Hill either.
My memory seems to be that I found the obituary included days after the date listed, about a visitor or traveler from Virginia that had experienced an accident or sudden illness and died in Georgetown.

Came across some possible evidence and as luck would have it the scan is too poor to really read but here's what I think.....An Edward Connolly of Fairfax had an accident of some sort. It looks like word FELL is readable. Also appears to imply he was buried at Oak Hill in the newspaper under affairs of Georgetown on Feb 18th 1868 article.
Looking at Oak Hill I don't see anyone. My thinking is that he was moved later to Holy Rood and there may be a chance a re interment note might be found sometime in the Holy Rood records. Burials in this area of the cemetery tended to be later by 15 years of so, than the 1868 presumed burial here.
