Mrs. Jane Conkey. 78, of R. D. 3, Waynesburg, died Monday, July 7, 1958 in Greene County Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Conkey was born May 28, 1880, at Pine Grove, W. Va., the daughter of Andrew and Mary Harley Workman, both deceased. She married Thomas M. Conkey, who preceded her in death in 1934.
She is survived by three sons: Glenn R. Conkey and Harl Conkey of Graysville, and Carl Conkey of Barberton, Ohio; three daughters, Edith Conkey of Cameron, W. Va., Mrs. Jean Gazy of Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs Ruth Stewart, of R. D. 5, Waynesburg; 20 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Conkey lived in Waynesburg for the past 22 years. She was a member of the Church of God.
