DAY, MR. CHRISTOPHER ARNOLD, age 28, of Dora, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2005 in an automobile accident. He was employed as a boilermaker and was working at the Alabama Power-Gorgas Steam Plant. He was a member of the Steamfitters Union Local #91 and was a member of Bagley Volunteer Fire Department. Funeral Services will be Sunday, October 23, at 1:00 p.m. in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawler Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday night 6 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his brother, Benjamin Seth Marcrum. Survivors include his wife, Anita Day; his two sons, Tyler and Logan Day; parents, Don and Darla Marcrum; father and mother-in-law, Michael and Kelly Thrash; grandmothers, Kathleen Day and Betty Marcrum; brothers, Ricky Day, Casey Marcrum and Jerry Marcrum; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
