ETHEL KINKADE - Ethel Kincade, 70, formerly of 202 Elliott, Ellensburg, died Tuesday at Madison Eden House in Yakima where she had lived since May.
She was born in Ellensburg on June 23, 1911, a daughter of the late Robert and Buena Riggs Gage.
She and Teddy Kinkade were married in Ellensburg on May 7, 1933. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1976.
Mrs. Kinkade was a member of the Eagles Lodge and had been employed for many years by Twin City Foods.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd Kinkade of Ellensburg; a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Evelyn) Stradley of Prosser; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and six brothers, Cliff, Bob, and Seth Gage, all of Ellensburg, Harold Gage of Oregon, George Gage of Chehalis, Ore., and Fred Gage of Tonasket, Wash.; and four sisters, Tressa Graham of Ellensburg, Esther Van de Grift of Sedro Woolley, Betty Churchill, Steilacoom, and Ellen Crawford of Kittitas.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Evenson Chapel. The Rev. Jim Finkbeiner will officiate and burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery.
Niece Ethel Bowan Gage noted that Ethel was the third of 14 children. She was first married to Chuck Hughes.
