Holladay, Utah - Our father, brother, granddad, uncle and friend Russell Stanley Castleberry died peacefully the evening of November 5, 2013. Russ was born February 5, 1928 in Shelby, Montana, the oldest son of Clarice Williamette Stanley and John Russell Castleberry. He married the love of his life, Ina Frances Morin, and together they raised 7 children, and loved 40 grandchildren and 60 great grandchildren. He raised his family in California and Oregon, before settling near his children in Salt Lake City. Russ was a surveyor by trade, a professional and volunteer fire fighter, and proud to be a World War II veteran with the Marine Corps. He is survived by children: Eve Feaster, Russ (Kash), Charles (Vanet), Tim, Sue Tappana, Joy Bischoff (Roy); 2 brothers: Dan Castleberry (Glenda) of Midvale, Idaho, and Joe Castleberry (Pam) of Lakehead, California. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Ina, his daughter Jenny Edgar, brother Warren, and sisters Sue Mahoney and Fran Shuffit. The family expressed sincere thanks to the staff of Holladay Health Care for the care given to dad and mom over the past several years. Funeral services were held 12:00 pm, Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Foxhill Ward, 200 South Eagle Ridge Drive, North Salt Lake. Internment followed the funeral services at Lake View Memorial Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah.
