Ida Mildred Arnett, 90, passed away at 12:30 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 13, 2013) at her home.
She was born April 27, 1923 in Oxford, Florida to William Commodore and Ruby Etta Estes Potter. She married Earl Jack Arnett Sr. on Dec. 31, 1941 in Ocala, Fla. He preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 2001
She leaves behind to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy, her sons (daughters-in-law), 17 grandchildren, including Tina Darnall, Rick (Lora) Arnett, Mark (Dayna) Arnett, Sean (Shannon) Arnett, Ashley (Jason) Kelly, Jamie (Rod) Stembridge-Council, Keith (Angie) Stembridge, Sherry Hoops, Scott Cannela and Melissa (Anthony) Del Castillo; 18 great-grandchildren, including Tiffany (Heath) Hamilton, Brittany Darnall, Jimmy Heasley, Bethany and Chad Arnett, Gracie Arnett, Addison and Mallory Arnett, Marshall Bruce, Janis Bruce, Michael, Bryan, Alicia, Erika and Olivia Hoops and Gunner and Lucas Del Castillo; six great-great-grandchildren, including Austin (Karstyn), Dylan, Brandon, Kayelynn and Madison Hamilton.
He worked at Collegiate Cap & Gown for 26 years and then after "retiring" spent seven years doing day care in her home along with her husband.
