Diane Marie Nyman, 57, of Dover passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at her home. She was born July 23, 1956, in Princeton to Ellis F. and Vivian A. (Jenner) Lind. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1974 and received her teaching degree from Illinois State University. She served the community as a teacher for 35 years working for Princeton Elementary Schools. She retired on June 1, 2013. Diane married Todd Nyman on June 6, 1980, in Princeton. He survives. She attended the First United Methodist Church and the Evangelical Covenant Church where she was active the church choir, children's choir, Bible school and praise team. She loved walks along the canal, watching her sons in sports activities, playing the trumpet and the piano. Diane was also very active in the community.
