Charlotte Delameter Bump of Livingston Manor, a lifetime area resident, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on October 2, 2007 at home with her loving family by her side after a long battle with cancer. She was 80 years old.
The only daughter of the late William Arthur Young and Daisy Gorr Young, she was born on October 24, 1926 in Equinunk, Pa. She was the widow of Philip Bump.
A family statement read, "Mom's courage, strength, and ability to laugh and smile throughout her long ordeal were an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed now that the Lord has called one of his angels Home. She may be gone from our sight but will live forever in our hearts."
She was predeceased by three brothers, Charles, Eugene and Francis Young; one daughter, Debbie Delameter; and one son, Dwayne Delameter.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, October 6 at 10 a.m. at the Sullivan County Veteran's Cemetery, Sunset Blvd., Liberty.
