April 13, 1921 - September 6, 2013

Joe Reinert, 92 of Hillsboro passed away September 6, 2013 in Hillsboro. He was born April, 13, 1921 to John Honnis and Ada Rhoda Keeton Reinert in the Yates Community.

He lived there through his early years and attended school in Yates. The family moved to Woodbury, where he also attended school, before settling in Hillsboro, where he lived the rest of his life.

On August 2, 1941, he married Daisy Watson in Whitney. The couple would share 72 happy years together.

For several years he worked at the Hillsboro bakery before serving in the Navy for two years during World War II. Following the war, he went to work for the Texas Highway Department, where he remained until his retirement in 1977.
