Walter is my great-grandfather. He was a son of Robert A. Bond and Lillian Mundell. Walter married to Anna Catherine Firestine in 1898 and they had 2 sons, Harold and Ernest.
Walter along with his father and other men started the Union Township fire department in 1910. Later after being a member for years Walter became chief of the fire department a position which he held for many years until his death.
