MRS. MARGARET ABT DIES THIS MORNING
Mrs. Margaret Abt, about 71, 226 Allens avenue, died at 10:45 o'clock this morning in St. Mary's hospital. She had been in poor health for over a year, and was a hospital patient 13 days.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Dean Funeral home.
Margaret Andrews was born in Defiance, O., where she received her education. She was married there to Charles Jeffers, and the family soon moved to Chicago. Seven daughters and two sons were born to the union, of whom one son and one daughter are deceased. Surviving are the following children: George of Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Bessie Gallehue of near Macomb, Mrs. Mae Goff of Lincoln, Ill., Mrs. Helen Marlet of Homewood, Mrs. Ruth Myers of Bloomington, Mrs. Mildred Trather of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Lola Nelson, 226 Allens avenue.
The family lived in Macomb several years. In 1925, she was married to Charles Abt, who died in 1936. The family came here 15 years ago. Mrs. Abt belonged to the Baptist church in Macomb.
Besides the children, she leaves 22 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a brother, Will Andrews of Detroit, Mich.

Last rites for Mrs. Margaret Abt will be held at 2 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon from the Dean Funeral Home, where friends may call tonight. Burial will be in Memorial Park.

MRS. MARGARET ABT RITES HELD TODAY
Last rites for Mrs. Margaret Abt were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the Dean Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. Everette Walker. Organ selections were played. Burial was in Memorial Park.
Casket bearers were Marion Woods, John Moore, Merle Clauson, Willard Robinson, Ben Bash and George Bandy.
