Mr. Danny Bell, 68, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at his home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Roberts officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Tuesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC.
Mr. Bell was born March 29, 1945 in Great Falls and was a son of the late Carl Ansel Bell and Ethel Denmark Bell. He was a graduate of Great Falls High School, Wingate College, and Columbia Commercial College. Mr. Bell served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war and was owner and operator of Bell's Service Station and Used Cars. He was a member of Great Falls Masonic Lodge #277, the Hejaz Shriners, and a member of Mitford Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of more than 41 years, Joyce Pittman Bell; two sons, Rusty Bell and wife Belinda of Great Falls and Micheal Bell and wife Melanie of Lancaster; nine grandchildren, Clyde Snead and Joboha Snead of Mt. Olive, NC, Jenna Miller and Caylen Miller of Lancaster, Hannah Bell of Lancaster, Blake Price of Great Falls, Jeremy Burtnette of Lancaster, and Michael Hipp and William Hipp of Great Falls; and two great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Snead and Colton Davis of Mt. Olive, NC.
