Charleston - Mrs. Katherine Louise Fonda of Charleston died today at the Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston. She was 78 years old.
Born Nov. 14, 1899, at St. Louis to the late Frank and Emma Koch Wuhrman, she married W. H. Fonda in 1926. He preceded her in death in 1964. She was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church.
Surviving is a son, Harry Herwig; sister, Mrs. Margaret Lannigan; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Friday at St. Henry's Catholic Church. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
