Erdena Saunders Farah, 88, of 103 Pine Hill Court Reidsville, N.C. went to be with the Lord Wednesday June 19, 2013 at the home of her daughter.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 P.M. Saturday June 22, 2013 at Woodmont United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.

A native of Troy, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Rev. Coy and Mary Morris Saunders and had lived in Reidsville for the past twelve years moving here from Nags Head, NC.

After her husband's retirement, she and her late husband owned and operated The Dare Shops Fine Jewelry and Gifts in Nags Head, NC. For many years she was a minister's wife, having lived in many cities in North Carolina and Iowa.

A member of Woodmont United Methodist Church, she was a member of the Methodist Women of Woodmont and was preceded in death by her husband: George Farah, and two brothers: Belton Saunders, Matthew Saunders and a sister: Doris Saunders.

Surviving: one daughter and husband of Reidsville, NC, one son and wife of Nags Head, NC, two grandsons, two great-grandchildren; a brother and wife of Hertford, NC, one sister and husband of Hertford, NC and another sister and husband of Robbins, NC.
