Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta, with Dr. Nelson Price and the Rev. Mark Babin officiating. Burial will be in Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. The body will be at the church at 9 a.m.
A Charleston, W.Va., native, Mr. Loeffel was employed by Southern Company Services in Atlanta. He was a deacon at Roswell Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Kemp Loeffel; two sons, William F. Loeffel of LaGrange and David K. Loeffel of Atlanta; his father, Willis "Bill" Loeffel of Marietta; one sister, Christina L. Hickey of San Anselmo, Calif.; and nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta.
