Edna Mae Patterson, age 84, widow of Homer Patterson, went to be with the lord on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. She was born in Fayette County, Kentucky, on September 1, 1928, to the late George Robert Biddle and Jennie Clemons Biddle. She was a loving mother, homemaker, and farmer, and was known for her quilts. She was also a member of the Homemakers Club, in Clark County and Bourbon County, and a member of Clintonville Christian Church.

Survivors include: two sons, Harold Patterson and Homer Patterson, both of Clark County; a daughter, Wanda Davis, of Fayette County; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Geneva Ginter, Dorothy Burns and Cora Witt; two brothers, Lee Biddle and David Biddle; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thanks to David and Melanie Shouse for all the love and care given to Mrs. Patterson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 24, at Scobee Funeral Home by Rev. Chuck Kemp and Bill Bales. Burial will be at Clintonville Cemetery, following the funeral. Pallbearers will be Randy Patterson, Gary Patterson, Shannon Patterson, Ruel Davis and Ricky Martin. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 24, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, go to the American Cancer Society.
