Willie "Richard" Clifford Youngblood, 57, passed away after an extended illness on Feb. 14, 2004.

He was born in Troy, Ala., and had been a lifelong resident of Anderson. He was employed and retired from Guide Lamp Division of General Motors.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 17 years, Shelia Youngblood; sons, William C. Youngblood of Mesa, Ariz., Clifford D. Youngblood, Leo D. Youngblood and Richard L. Youngblood, all of Anderson; daughters, Wendi R. Youngblood of Atlanta, Ga., Mesha M. Youngblood, Taia S. Youngblood and Terichia J. Youngblood, all of Anderson; 19 grandchildren; sisters, Mattie Haynes and Earlie Burney, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Larsuel of Conyer, Ga., and Annie (husband, Paul) Chamberlain of Anderson; brothers, L.V. Youngblood of Eaton, Ga., and John Youngblood of Conyer, Ga.; sisters-in-law, Mary Youngblood and Olean Youngblood, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Deena (Michael) Brown of Indianapolis; mother-in-law, Runell Tibbs of Indianapolis; brothers-in-law, Danny (wife, Bonnie) Tibbs of Kentucky, Larry Crumpton of Indianapolis and Willie Haynes of Alabama; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Anderson Zion Baptist Church, 2008 Louise St., Anderson, with Pastor Victor L. Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be two hours before the service Saturday at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by L.C. May Funeral Services.
