BLAUVELT-The death of Ellen
Jones, widow of Erastus Blauvelt, occurred
Monday, June 8, at the home
of her sister, Mrs. Coffin, in Jersey
City, from the effects of a stroke of
apoplexy. Mrs. Blauvelt was well
known and highly esteemed in this
city, where the most of her life was
passed. She was 82 years of age.
With her husband she lived on Plant
street until about twelve years ago,
when failing health necessitated her
removal to the-Home for Aged Men and
Couples. There she lived with him until
his death two years ago, when she
took up her residence with her sister
in Jersey City. Mrs. Blauvelt was a
member of Trinity Church.

The funeral of Ellen Jones, widow of
Erastus Blauvelt. was held at Forest
Hill Cemetery at 11 o'clock this morning.
The Rev. W. B. Coleman was the
officiating clergyman. The floral offerings
were beautiful and numerous.
