Margaret Ellen Adams was born near Allendale, MO, Jan. 16, 1865. She was the daughter of the late James and Ruth Adams, and departed this life at Anaheim, CA, October 5, 1943, age 78 years, 9 months and 19 days.

On Jan. 1, 1882 she was married to William F. McClelland at the home of her parents near Allendale. To this union 9 children were born. Her husband and 3 children preceded her in death. She is survived by five daughters: Mrs Chas B Halley, Los Angeles, CA; Mrs Etta Nemetz, Anaheim; Mrs J L Johnson, Orange, CA; Mrs A W Koch, Fullerton, CA; Mrs W C Barber, Los Angeles; and one son Rollo W McClellan, Costa Mesa, CA.; Eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Three brothers: Dr W J Adams, Fillmore, CA; Dr W W Adams, Anaheim and Argus Adams, Fullerton. Four sisters, Mrs Louvinia Kirk, Oregon; Mrs Andrew Ewing, Mt Ayr, IA; Mrs Keith Rush, Anaheim, and Mrs Frank Perry, Anaheim, besides a host of relatives and friends.
