NELSON LEROY FOX, 91, of Cooperstown, died at 6:05 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 1994 in Northwest Medical Center at Franklin. Born March 25, 1902, in Nickleville, he was a son of Charles Alexander and Etta Louella Boyer Fox. Mr. Fox worked at CPT for 28 years. He was a member of the CPT Quarter Century Club. He served four years on the Cooperstown Borough Council. Mr. Fox was married to Shirley Ruth Rogers, who survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Germain (LaVohne) Schreffler of Edgewater, FL, Mrs. Danny (Donna) Shultz of Girard, Evelyn Nelson of Oil City, Mrs. Clyde (Sandra) Couch and Mrs. Richard (Betty) Boughner, both of Cooperstown; one brother, Charles Norman Fox of Bartlesville, OK; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. His parents; his first wife, Margaret Virginia Webster Fox; four brothers and two sisters preceded Mr. Fox in death. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Daryl Adams, pastor of the Van Free Methodist Church, will officiate. Rev. Timothy Rogers, pastor of the Hendersonville Methodist Church, will assist him. Interment will follow in Cooperstown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County.
