Daughter of the late Chester Brown Sr. and the late Barbara Jean Brown. She was a faithful employee of the Salvation Army for over 15 years.
Survived by son, Marqete Brown-Jordon; and her daughter, Rasheeda Brown-Jordon; three grandchildren, a brother, Chester Brown Jr.; sisters, Darlene Brown and Janice (Douglas) Horton; and her dear friend, Ayuko White. She was predeceased by her sister, Juanita Garland.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 22, 2013, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1042 Preston Avenue.
