Mr. Brown, 81, died March 7, 2010, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Mr. Brown was a native of Lincoln County and had lived in Crystal Springs for 52 years. He owned and operated C.C. Brown Construction for 35 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Gallman Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Betty Brown; his sons Dale Brown and Roy Brown and wife Renee, all of Crystal Springs, and Billy Brown and wife Joy, of Villa Rica, Ga.; his daughters, Cindy McAlpin and husband Larry, of Crystal Springs, Debbie Pridgen and husband Aubrey, of Brandon, and Dana Bowman and husband Ben, of Loyd Star; his brother, Clem Brown, of Monticello; his sisters, Causie Lee Johnson, of Foxworth and LaVerne Niehaus, of Sontag; his 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
