Sir: each time I visit the site of Andersonville Prison, I sit quietly and remember your letter - as Inspector General - to your line superior expressing concern that history will judge the South terribly unless this abominable prison was swiftly decomissioned. We share the same name because I descend from your 3rd cousin, Wm. Parish Chilton, with whom you became fast friends in Richmond.
