Records show that at age 57 (1940census record pictured) Rev. Eubanks had a very large household and lived at 71 King Ferry Street St. Augustine Florida. Eleven total including his two sons Fred( Later served his country in WW2 in the US Army achieving S SGT) and Walter; three daughters: Carrie, Evelyn and Jessie Mae(records show Jessie Mae as Jessie Mae Edmond - Married- she passed 2 years later and was buried as Jessie Mae Eubanks),Grand daughter Eloise Tennent and three "LODGERS" a married couple Andrew (age 38 yardman for private family) & Ida (age 37) Primus as well as James small (age 49 unemployed). The three "LODGERS" lead me to believe he was doing Gods work...records show him as a laborer at Grocery warehouse not a Reverend. They also indicate he was one of very few African Americans in town to make more than $50.00 a week. He is at rest near his son S SGT Fredrick A. Eubanks and His daughter Jessie Mae Eubanks. There is an unmarked grave beside him I believe to be his wife but have no confirmation yet.
