Marcia L. Albertson, 96, of Shelton, NE, died Sunday, April 17, 2005 in Shelton at the home of her caregiver, Barbara Rodriguez. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 23, at Kleine Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nancy Lambert
officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 8 p.m., Friday at Kleine Funeral Home with the family receiving friends throughout the afternoon and evening.
Marcia was born May 5, 1908 at Schuyler, NE, the daughter of John C. and Mae (Hughes) Bailey. She was a graduate of Schuyler High School in 1928. She married Otto Marius Albertson in Kansas. Marcia and her husband farmed for
nearly sixty years four miles south of Alda, NE until his death in 1986.
Marcia was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and was a member of the Eastern Star. She took great joy in caring for her family. Relatives and friends would drive miles to enjoy her delicious meals.
She is survived by one daughter: Sandra Sandy Dubbs of Omaha, Nebraska, two sons: Richard and (wife Barbara) Albertson of Leavenworth, WA, Quinton B. Albertson of Alda, NE, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, one
sister: Elaine Hamata of Tujungo, CA, and one sister-in-law: Eva Bailey of Schuyler, NE.
Marcia was preceded in death by her husband, Otto, an infant son, Marlin, her parents, and several brothers and sisters.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity United Methodist Church or the Schuyler Museum, 309 E 11th St. Schuyler, NE 68661.
