Rosemary Roush Ambrose, 73, of 1527 Nester Drive, Winchester, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008, at Winchester Medical Center. She was born June 27, 1934, in Parkersburg. She was the daughter of the late E. L. and Doris West Roush.
Mrs. Ambrose was employed as a legal secretary for George Snarr and Lewis Costello for 18 years until her retirement in 1991. She was a member of the Braddock Street United Methodist Church.
She was married in Frederick, Md., on July 17, 1954 to Mr. Jack T. Ambrose. She was survived by her husband; two sons, Jon T. Ambrose, of New York, N.Y., and W. Todd Ambrose, of Washington D.C.; and one sister; Barbara R. Oldland, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Funeral Chapel in Winchester, Va., with the Rev. James A. Hewitt III officiating. Burial will be private in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
