Mrs. Rebecca Breech died after a lingering illness on May 24, at the age of 61 years. Deceased was the widow of Jacob Breech who died in the army, leaving her with nine children, the oldest only 11 years of age. Mrs. Breech was equal to the task, by her never tiring industry and economical management, assisted by a pension from the government. She successfully raised the family and accumulated a nice little property. She was a member of the Reformed Church of this place.
